Job description

THE COMPANY

Our client is a well-established, global infrastructure and modular solutions company expanding its U.S. footprint. The company provides practical space, site, and infrastructure solutions for commercial, industrial, construction, government, and project-based customers. Its U.S. business is growing quickly, gaining strong market traction, and continuing to enter new geographies where it can compete aggressively and build long-term customer relationships. This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants the stability and resources of a large company, but the autonomy and upside of building a new local market. The company has a track record of promoting successful branch leaders into larger roles, and current branch-manager retention is strong.

THE JOB

The Branch Manager will lead the launch and growth of a new greater Atlanta branch. This person will initially operate as a hands-on, customer-facing selling manager, building local business before the physical branch is fully established. Once the branch is operational, the Branch Manager will help build the team, manage local performance, and lead the market’s continued growth. This role is ideal for someone who has branch management experience, understands local B2B sales, knows how to manage people, and has enough financial acumen to understand branch-level performance. The company is looking for someone who can build relationships, create momentum, and eventually lead a team around them.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development of a new greater Atlanta branch / market.
  • Build early customer relationships and generate business before the physical branch is open.
  • Sell directly into the local market and represent the company with commercial, industrial, construction, and project-based customers.
  • Manage branch performance with an understanding of revenue, EBIT, profitability, and operational execution.
  • Help determine the right team structure as the market grows.
  • Eventually participate in selecting, hiring, and developing sales and branch staff.
  • Partner with regional leadership to establish the branch, build local awareness, and grow market share.
  • Manage customer expectations with a high level of professionalism, urgency, and follow-through.
  • Operate with autonomy in a developing market while staying aligned with company standards and culture.

THE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3–5+ years of branch management, assistant branch management, market management, sales management, or similar leadership experience.
  • Experience managing people in a branch, rental, industrial, construction services, or B2B service environment.
  • Strong customer-facing sales ability.
  • Comfort building a market or branch without every resource already in place.
  • Exposure to P&L, gross margin, revenue targets, or branch-level financial performance.
  • Experience in equipment rental, modular buildings, industrial supply, construction services, gas/welding supply, portable storage, fleet rental, site services, or another transferable B2B branch environment.
  • Strong local market instincts and the ability to build relationships in the greater Atlanta area.
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style.
  • Confidence, competitiveness, and drive without excessive ego.
  • Ability to collaborate with other leaders and share success across the organization.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • A desire to build something, not simply maintain an existing book of business.

THE BENEFITS

  • $90-$95K Base Salary
  • Annual performance bonus target of approximately $25,000 tied to branch performance.
  • Company vehicle option or car allowance; car allowance is approximately $1,000 per month.
  • Total earning potential is expected to be approximately $125,000–$145,000+, depending on final base salary, bonus achievement, stretch performance, and vehicle/allowance structure.
  • Additional benefits are expected, but full medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO
