As a Client Service Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting all administrative responsibilities for front desk support and provide practice management support for one or more advisors or leaders.Looking to advance your career further through licensing? - General administrative duties performed may include: logging/distributing correspondence and check deposits, maintenance for office of supervisory jurisdiction and client files, office supply management (including maintenance of equipment), processing expense submissions-tracking-approvals, initiating maintenance requests, schedule wholesalers and support branch seminar series/events. Responsible for Reception support: answering phones during regular business hours, greeting clients-prospects.
- Practice Support duties may include: delivery of Ameriprise Client Experience for clients of one or more practices. Responsibilities may include; scheduling client or prospect appointments, entering client data into various applications, supervising progress vs. practice goals, addressing client service requests, establishing new clients with Ameriprise, including introducing the digital experience, assisting advisor in preparation or follow-up to client or prospect meetings. Supporting the practice's marketing programs (events, go-social, MOD, etc.).
Required Qualifications
- Associate (2-year) degree or equivalent
- 1-3 years Relevant Experience Required
- Able to maintain confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and operate under limited/minimal direction.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Effective shown written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to function in fast-paced environment, maintain operational quality, ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Understanding of a financial advisors practice.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Understanding of business basics (profitability, negotiation), ability to work directly with clients to understand, resolve and detail any and all requests, informational updates and concerns.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $ 47,500- $65,300/ year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.Full-Time/Part-Time
