Job description

HFI Management (HFIM) is currently seeking a Security Analyst based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This role will Direct and oversee the internal and external marketing functions of assigned Companies.

HFIM is the administrative and sales support division of the Brad Hall family of companies. HFIM supports companies in fuel and lube distribution, propane sales, retail fuel stations, oil field services farming, fuel transportation and other industries. The family of Companies does business in the Western United States and supplies to over 40 states.

The Security Analyst will primarily be focused on:

  • Oversee implementation of cybersecurity software and hardware.
  • Act as liaison between cybersecurity company and HFIM.
    • Analyze logs and reports from cybersecurity company and resolve all security issues throughout the enterprise.
    • Assist Network Administrator to develop and manage network access security protocols and minimize vulnerabilities.
    • Assist in monitoring and controlling software usage and access.
    • Oversee creation of email security filtering system and training for enterprise employees.
    • Implement cybersecurity software and procedures and train IT staff and enterprise employees.
    • Work with Network Admin to develop and administer emergency response plans for network and cybersecurity issues.
    • Assist Network Administrator to ensure the enterprise has appropriate web threat protection, anti-virus, firewall controls, and content filtering for all locations.

The preferred candidate for the Security Analyst will have the following:

  • Five or more years of experience in IT security, IT Field Support, networking, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, systems, and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn company systems and processes.
  • Adheres to the companys values and ethical expectations
  • Able to effectively multitask.
  • Able to assist and relate to multiple leadership types in multiple industries simultaneously.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
