Become a Key Player as a Program Manager - BPCI III

You will lead cross-functional programs that deliver identity and platform capabilities impacting millions of users. You will partner with product, design, architecture, engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to drive execution and prioritize work across a complex portfolio. This role is Hybrid — 2 to 3 days onsite in San Jose, CA.

Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Lead end-to-end program delivery across a portfolio spanning Identity Platform and student-focused programs, coordinating multiple engineering teams
  • Drive prioritization and trade-offs across resources, timelines, and scope to ensure the right work gets done at the right time
  • Build and maintain detailed program plans, track risks and dependencies, and deliver clear status reporting to stakeholders at all levels
  • Serve as primary point of contact for program details and present program status and trade-offs from individual contributors to executives
  • Participate in requirements, design, and architecture reviews to maintain end-to-end understanding of solutions and dependencies
  • Proactively manage risk using data-driven insights and establish clear escalation paths to keep programs on track
  • Streamline processes and introduce tooling efficiencies to accelerate execution across initiatives
Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • 8+ years of experience in technical program management, software engineering, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional programs
  • Proven track record managing a portfolio of concurrent programs across multiple teams and organizations
  • Experience in cloud/services-based environments with a strong grasp of resiliency, scalability, and platform stability
  • Sharp prioritization instincts and an acute sense of urgency and business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to brief executives and engage in engineering design reviews
  • Strong relationship-building skills across a globally distributed, matrixed organization
  • Proficiency with Jira and program/portfolio management tooling
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle processes

  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (OAuth 2.0, Federated ID, SSO, SCIM, authentication patterns)
