SUMMARY
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide the full scope of primary care services to patients of Bowdoin Street Health Center, including but not limited to diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions, preventive care and health maintenance, and coordination of care. Physician will generally have a focus on either internal medicine or family medicine.

The mission of the health center is to provide excellent, compassionate care to our patients and support the health of the entire community. This role is an employment model position in the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc. (HMFP).
Primary Responsibilities:
Obtain health history and perform physical examinations utilizing medical instruments and equipment. Order or execute various tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on a patient's condition. Analyze reports and findings of tests and examinations, and diagnose condition of patient. Accurately diagnose and treat a wide-range of acute and chronic diseases and injuries Administer or prescribe treatments and medications appropriate to a patient's diagnosis. Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal statutes and professional practice guidelines. Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease. Prepare records and reports as required in support of services rendered in accordance with established procedures. Counsel patient and, if appropriate, family on diagnosis and treatment plans to ensure understanding and follow-through. Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider meetings, and other clinical meetings. Make referrals to specialists when appropriate for a patient's condition and treatment. Support health center culture and promote team-based delivery of patient care.

Pay Range:
$200,000 - $300,000
The base pay range reflects what Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (HMFP) reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this role at the time of posting and may be modified from time to time. Actual compensation within this range may be determined based on several factors, including academic appointment, work experience, specialty training, geography of work location, anticipated productivity, FTE basis, and role expectations. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which may include bonuses for productivity and quality HMFP also offers a comprehensive and generous employee benefits program to eligible employees, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as retirement plan(s) with employer contributions.
