Job Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Part-Time, 29 Hours Per Week


Summary:

The Boston Celtics Entertainment team is seeking a dynamic In-Arena Co-Host to help bring game nights at TD Garden to life. This role will lead on-court contests, promotions, and fan interactions while bringing the energy, personality, and presence needed to elevate the in-game experience.

The ideal candidate is a confident live performer who can engage 19,000+ fans, think quickly, lead with positivity, and thrive in fast-paced environment. This is a part-time, seasonal position supporting the Live Production & Entertainment team. If you are ready to command the crowd and create unforgettable Celtics moments, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the in-arena co-host for select Celtics home games
  • Lead in-arena promotions, live hits, interactive fan contests, and crowd engagement
  • Build energy throughout the game and create memorable experiences for fans
  • Co-host duties may also extend to support community, fan, and partner events
  • Actively participate in pregame meetings, rehearsals, and production run-throughs
  • Assist the Live Production & Entertainment Department, stage managers and mascot to execute in-arena activations
  • Review game assignments, promotional elements, and event responsibilities in advance
  • Adapt quickly, manage multiple priorities, and perform confidently in a fast-paced live environment
  • Follow production direction, communicate clearly and consistently, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
  • Support additional Live Production & Entertainment projects, events, and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Availability to work in all Boston Celtics home games, including preseason, regular season, and potential playoff games
  • Previous live hosting, announcing, emceeing, or on-camera experience
  • Strong on-camera presence with confidence, poise, and energy
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of basketball and an understanding of the Boston Celtics Brand
  • Self-motivated, organized, detailed-oriented, and dependable
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible to work nights, weekends, holidays, and other nontraditional hours
  • Must reside in, or have secured accommodations, within the New England area

The expected flat/hourly rate and potential commission, if applicable, are included below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this/these rate(s) will depend on, among other factors, actual rates for current/former employees in the subject position, market and industry considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure, performance, and standing with the company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

Flat/Hourly Rate:

  • Games – A flat rate of $250 per game or $15.00 per hour, whichever is greater.
  • Community Appearances – A flat rate of $150 per appearance or $15.00 per hour, whichever is greater.
  • Season Ticket/Sponsor Appearances – A flat rate of $250 per appearance or $15.00 per hour, whichever is greater.
  • Content Engagements – A flat rate of $150 per engagement or $15.00 per hour, whichever is greater.
  • Rehearsals – A flat rate of $50 per rehearsal or $15.00 per hour, whichever is greater.
