Job Description

Within the Power Solutions division based in Farmington Hills MI, Bosch is building-up a next-generation Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) demonstration pick-up truck that addresses both customer demands and regulatory requirements to reduce CO2 emissions. As a vehicle thermal systems engineering intern, you will be supporting the integration and testing of cutting-edge Bosch components into a hybrid pick-up truck.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the integration of the Bosch high voltage cooling fan into the engine bay of the hybrid pick-up truck
  • Be an active part of the project team supporting the design, analysis and manufacturing of the shroud and mounting interfaces of the HV fan to be integrated into the hybrid pick-up truck.
  • Support the HW and SW integration of a V2L-capable CharCon on our demo truck and identify possibilities to demonstrate the V2L capabilities to customers.
  • Create reports with thorough documentation of system design changes and share updates with the project teams on a regular basis.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Must have professional working experience or previous internships in the automotive industry, working on electrification projects.
  • Must be willing to work in a vehicle lab onsite to support vehicle integration and testing activities.
