Job description

Prestige Extreme Machining and Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Boring Mill Operator to join our growing machining team. We are looking for a skilled machinist with experience operating a Cincinnati Gilbert Boring Mill equipped with a Fagor Controller. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision machining and producing high-quality components.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Set up and operate a Cincinnati Gilbert CNC Boring Mill with a Fagor Controller.
โ€ข Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
โ€ข Machine precision parts while maintaining close tolerances and quality standards.
โ€ข Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and minor program adjustments.
โ€ข Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
โ€ข Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet customer and engineering specifications.
โ€ข Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues as needed.
โ€ข Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
โ€ข Work collaboratively with supervisors and other machinists to meet production schedules.
Qualifications:
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining experience required.
โ€ข Experience operating a CNC Boring Mill is strongly preferred.
