Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 12 hours per week

Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No

Starting Salary Range:  $15.34-$16.80 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.

Position Summary: Support all aspects of the Bookstore operations, provide sales support, operate a cash register, stock merchandise, coordinate with the warehouse team, and serve as a customer service liaison.

Required Qualifications:

  • Entry-level support role.
  • Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
  • Requires a High School Diploma and little to no related experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist customers with purchases. 
  • Perform cashiering duties with returns, exchanges, inner account transfers, and technology purchases. 
  • Stock shelves and ensure the sales floor remains organized. 
  • Pick and pack web orders accurately using the inventory management system.
  • Assist textbook and merchandise receivers with checking in course materials or merchandise. 
  • Tag textbooks and merchandise and get them ready to be stocked on the sales floor. 
  • Perform operational duties at buyback and rental check-in at the end of each semester. 

*Other duties as assigned.
