Job description

Our Everett-based accounting firm seeks a knowledgeable, friendly, and detail-oriented payroll specialist to perform payroll processing duties and ensure accuracy of financial records.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Process payroll with different cycles for multiple clients

· Filing of Payroll taxes and tax liabilities payments for multiple clients Providing a high level of customer service by directly interacting with clients.

· Assist with other accounting projects in the office, if needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

· 2 plus years’ experience managing payroll preferable but will train right candidate.

· Strong experience in QuickBooks Desktop and QBO

· Bilingual. Fluent in English and Spanish. Read, write, and speak. (Required) Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, primarily Excel and Word.

· Attention to detail is an absolute must Dependable and Honest

· Ability to work under tight timelines efficiently Effective communication skills

· Ability to manage a high stress workflow Proficient in data entry

· Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
