The position will be headquartered at and required to work from the Hill Farms State Office Building at 4822 Madison Yards Way, Madison, WI, 2-3 days per week. Position Summary The Financial Operations Associate is responsible for providing fiscal, procurement, and program support to the Higher Educational Aids Board (HEAB). This position requires a high degree of sound judgment, the ability to make independent decisions, and application of various work methods. Specific responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with HEAB's Administrative Policy Advisor to ensure accounts payable and receivables are paid in a timely manner.
- Completing monthly reconciliation of grant programs.
- Reviewing expense reports and routing for approvals.
- Obtaining quotes from vendors for office supplies.
- Providing program support to Grants Specialists.
- Managing and maintaining office supplies inventory.

hourly rate $21.05, plus excellent benefits. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications Qualified candidates must have all the following:- Experience working with conflicting priorities to meet established deadlines.

- Experience working with accounts payable and receivables.
In addition to all the above, well-qualified candidates must have one or more of the following:- Experience working with vendors to purchase items, coordinate payment, or resolve issues with invoices and payment auditing and tracking.
- Experience managing and maintai ning inventory such as receiving, inspecting, and/or distributing supplies.
