Job Posting Title: Investment Operations Analyst Sr.

Location: Dallas - Shared Services

Job Description: Posting Summary: This position is responsible for daily investment analysis, cash flow forecasting, investment operations, endowment operations, performance reporting, and guideline reviews for multiple institutional investment pools. The position supports senior investment office staff and has broad exposure to the workings of an institutional investment office and equities, fixed income, private equity, private credit, and hedge funds. Finance or related degree with three years of directly related experience in an endowment/foundation or related environment. Advanced proficiency with spreadsheets and strong working knowledge of investment management databases is required. A commitment to excellence, integrity, collaboration, and desire to work for a mission-driven non-profit organization is integral to the role.

Position Summary
  • Prepare daily investment valuation and fluctuation variance analyses.
  • Provide support for endowment operations, cash flow forecasting, and portfolio implementation such as capital calls, trades, distributions, and incentive fees.
  • Prepare quantitative and qualitative analysis on investment mandates and prepare attribution/ factor analysis, and sector exposure over time to produce manager and portfolio level attribution reports.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reporting ensuring adherence to industry standards, to produce relevant, accurate and consistent information.
  • Provide analytical support for portfolio and mandate guideline compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate the existing managers in the investment portfolios through mandate specific investment guidelines, reconciliations, compliance reviews, and SEC Form ADV reviews.
  • Provides analytical support for assumptions for return expectations, standard deviations, and correlations, including comparison summaries.
  • Assists with preparation of Board Investment Committee materials.
  • Prepare special analysis, ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/ Abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree with three years of directly related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree should be finance, accounting, business, economics or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The experience should be in an institutional investment office such as an endowment, foundation, or pension plan environment.
  • Strong background in investment analysis, portfolio analysis, and performance measurement methodologies within GIPS framework.
  • Working knowledge of Zephyr/PSN, eVestment, Wilshire Compass or other investment management software and databases.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative skills, and ability to synthesize large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Commitment to integrity and desire to work for a mission-driven non-profit organization.
