As a Business Operations & Accounting Associate, you will support financial operations, accounting processes, and HR administration within a dynamic financial services and wealth management organization. You will work directly with senior leadership to enhance operational efficiency, maintain financial accuracy, and contribute to strategic decision-making in a regulated investment advisory environment. This role is ideal for a detail-focused professional who enjoys blending accounting, business operations, and team support while building a long-term career in financial services.

To succeed, you should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with accounting coursework
  • 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience; experience in financial services or wealth management preferred.
  • 1+ year of HR administration, including employee onboarding, benefits coordination, employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and cross-functional business projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), with advanced Excel capabilities and experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred.
  • Solid knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, bank and credit card reconciliations, and financial reporting, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to business technology systems and handle confidential financial and HR information with discretion.

Your responsibilities as a Business Operations & Accounting Associate will include:
  • Administer payroll processing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations within a financial services environment.
  • Perform commission reconciliation with broker/dealers, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records in QuickBooks accounting software.
  • Reconcile bank statements and corporate credit cards, enter financial transactions, and prepare monthly financial reports to support executive decision-making and compliance.
  • Support budget planning and forecasting, assist with leadership meeting coordination, and contribute to operational reporting and business performance tracking.
  • Assist with HR administration, including employee onboarding, benefits coordination, employee engagement initiatives, internal events, and cross-functional business projects.
