Position Overview
We have an exciting growth opportunity for an Associate Bond Claims Attorney - Trainee in our Santa Ana, California office. This role is designed for an early-career attorney who will receive structured training and mentorship to develop expertise in surety bond claims. Investigate claims by reviewing documentation, gathering information from various parties, and analyzing legal and business issues. Prepare determination letters and assist in mediations and court proceedings.
During the first year and beyond: Expand skills to manage more complex claims independently and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
Education and Experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent education/experience
• Up to two years of relevant legal experience (civil litigation, insurance claims, construction law, or probate practice preferred)

For candidates working in person in Santa Ana, the reasonable pay range for this position is $85,400 to $117,500 per year.
