- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Measure, cut, fit, and align steel plate, structural steel, and other materials
- Perform welding and fitting as required
- Install and repair structural components, supports, platforms, and equipment
- Assist with equipment installation and industrial construction projects
- Perform rigging, lifting, and positioning of heavy equipment and components
