Job description

Intelligence Support Analyst
Why This is an Exciting Role:
As an Intelligence Support Analyst at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for supporting Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Intelligence Analysts, Information Officers, and Collection Managers in using the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Think Analyze Connect (TAC) data discovery system to support their intelligence requirements by:
  • Working closely with the customer on developing information requests and expressing them as queries and grids to support the customers' day to day operations.
  • Providing desk-side and remote/virtual assistance by analyzing customer-specific data and recommending queries and analytic grid frameworks to persistently monitor the essential elements of interest to customers.
  • Building TAC search queries and grid sets to support multiple Components within DHS.
  • Providing training on use of the system for customer personnel in settings such as classrooms, desk-side assistance, collaboration using web tools, or telephone support.
  • Conducting content administration/query quality control of the TAC analytic query database.
  • Assisting the BI&A program manager in preparation of formal reports.
  • Collaborating with other analysts on similar contracts as well as customer program managers to ensure clear lines of communications and expectations.
  • Traveling to customer CONUS sites to provide training or TAC user support on-site at field locations. TDY requirements are estimated up to 10%.

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
  • Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Required Qualifications:
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph
  • Proficiency in the analytic employment of computer-based analysis or query tools in an intelligence setting
  • Experience in providing training on the use of analytic tools in environments such as classrooms, small group or desk-side analytic mentor training sessions, through use of on-line collaboration tools, or telephonically

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience using the TAC tool or as a TAC System Specialist
  • Experience working with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Operational and Support Components such as I&A, USCIS, USCG, CBP, CISA, FEMA, ICE, USSS, TSA, S&T, or CWMD
  • Experience using intelligence analysis or research tools such as RMT, DataXplorer, FADE, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, Multi-media Message Manager (M3), Pathfinder, CHROME, HOTR, Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment (TIDE), or Google Earth
  • Working knowledge of all source analysis as applied to analytic problem sets
  • Self-starter and team builder with excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to keep accurate and up to date administrative records
  • Ability to project and log long term training requirements and schedules
  • Ability to represent the Company to clients, and to shape and advocate for client requirements

Summary Pay Range:
Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
$105,000 - $139,000
