Position Responsibilities:

As a Level 3/4 Program Manager on the F-22 Modernization team, you will:

  • Lead planning and execution of cutting-edge F-22 modernization programs from inception through successful completion.

  • Ensure all customer commitments are clearly understood, documented, and delivered on time with uncompromising quality.

  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with customers, industry partners, and cross-functional teams including mission systems, systems engineering, air vehicle, procurement, sustainment engineering, training systems, and finance.

  • Apply Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) to drive program activities and deliverables.

  • Develop, integrate, and maintain detailed program plans and schedules aligned with industry standards to meet all project requirements.

  • Generate and communicate clear, actionable reports, metrics, and change management updates throughout the project lifecycle summarizing program progress to plan to senior and executive leadership.

  • Conduct trend, variance, and impact analyses, while proactively managing risks, issues, and opportunities.

  • Understand and mitigate constraints related to staffing, product development, production rates, and supplier performance.

  • Lead recovery planning efforts when necessary and ensure robust project control systems are in place to support stakeholders.

  • Continuously improve project management processes and business systems, championing best practices that empower decision-makers.

  • Drive new business initiatives, including competitive and sole-source proposal efforts.

  • Work 100% onsite in a Special Access Program Facility (SAPF) and be willing to travel up to 25% as needed.

Position Responsibilities - Experienced Level 3:

  • Independently develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Performs studies, analysis (trend, variance, impact), risk assessments to determine impacts, and constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives

  • Creates schedule, reports, metrics, change activity, communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project

  • Works to improve project management processes, business systems, and implement best practices that support project decision makers

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders

Position Responsibilities - Senior Level 4:

  • Leads, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for complex projects, programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management industry

  • Leads studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), reports, risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts, constraints involving product development, production rates, process improvement, program initiatives

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

  • Develops and establishes lead time requirements

  • Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan, schedules, change and baseline management, processes, techniques considered to be best practice across the industry

  • Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion

  • Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position is for 1st shift.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.

  • Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret - Final Post-Start & Special Program Access

  • 3+ years of experience in a role that requires project management skills

  • Experience in project management such as scheduling, resource management, and performance measures

  • Experience working in a cross functional environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

  • Current Secret clearance.

  • Experience developing and managing project schedules and budgets.

  • Experience leading teams in formal or informal leadership roles.

  • Strong communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.

  • Experience in aircraft modernization and development programs.

  • Experience presenting to technical, managerial, and executive audiences.

  • Familiarity with engineering disciplines and their roles within complex programs.

  • Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
