Job description

The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Body Shop Foreman to join our dynamic team. The Body Shop Foreman has direct supervision over the Body Shop Technicians. This position assists technicians in the diagnosis of repairs and recommends to customers repairs that are needed. This position is ultimately responsible for the quality of repairs.

Responsibilities:
  • Acts as a liaison between customer and technicians, demonstrates professionalism in the presence of TLG customers.
  • Writes estimates and repair orders.
  • Ensure invoices are processed and billed in a timely manner.
  • Supervises body shop technicians and ensures quality work.
  • Check and review work in progress and follow up for completion as scheduled.
  • Inspect all vehicles upon completion. Responsible for ensuring all work has been completed per TLG Quality Standards. Advises if additional work is needed.
  • Informs Body Shop Manager of all customer complaints so they may be handled before vehicle leaves shop.
  • Assists in maintaining a clean shop and that special tools and equipment are in proper condition.
  • Pre-plan parts requirements for each job to make sure parts are available for repair.
  • Works with Body Shop Manager and Sales Staff to ensure sold trucks are prepared properly.
  • Assists Body Shop Manager as needed and perform all other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Should possess a high school diploma.
  • Certification or degree in related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in a related field is required.
