Job description

Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking a PM Pastry Cook. We are considering candidates with at least 2 years of prior experience working within an upscale restaurant, hotel or resort environment. The Pastry Cook will assist in the preparation of all pastry and bakery products. Set up of dessert stations and plate ups.
  • Part or Full-Time hours available
  • Typical Shift Hours: 2pm/4pm - 10pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
  • Prepares all pastry and bakery items.
  • Works dessert buffet stations and banquet plate ups.
  • Follows recipes, assists in the development of new recipes.
  • Follows prep list.
  • Ensures all products are fresh before serving.
  • Ensures that all coolers and storage areas are maintained neat, organized, and items rotated.
  • Maintains highest sanitary conditions.
  • Ensures that all work areas are safe and secure; reports any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
  • Your supervisor may assign other duties and activities from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • At least 2 years of experience
  • Previous experience in a high volume quality kitchen
  • Team Player, self motivator
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
