Cross Island Provisions is an authorized purveyor of Boars Head Brand products, delivering high-quality deli and foodservice products to customers throughout Connecticut. We are seeking a dependable Route Driver to join our delivery team.
The trucks we drive are 18' box trucks.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Boars Head Brand products to assigned customer routes
  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles
  • Load and unload products at the warehouse and customer locations
  • Verify invoices and ensure accurate deliveries
  • Rotate product and check dates at customer locations when needed
  • Provide professional, friendly customer service
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic care of assigned vehicle
  • Follow all DOT, safety, and company policies
Requirements:
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Dependable, punctual, and customer-focused
  • Comfortable with early morning start times
  • Previous delivery or route experience preferred (not required)
  • DOT medical card a plus (or ability to obtain one)
