Job description

If you are looking for an opportunity to enrich the lives of others with your furry friend, we invite you to become an Animal Enrichment Volunteer. Volunteering for hospice can be one of the most emotionally and spiritually rewarding experiences in a person's life.

Our volunteers are an invaluable member of the Vivie Hospice team and share their time and talents to enhance the quality of life for those living with terminal illness. All volunteers receive free and comprehensive training before being given a volunteer assignment.

Animal Enrichment volunteers must submit documentation of their pet's immunizations as well as one of the following certifications: AKC STAR Puppy, AKC Canine Good Citizen, or Pet Partners.

Interested in volunteering but need assistance with certifying your animal? Don't let that discourage you from applying. Contact us, and we can provide you with information on how to get your dog certified.

If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information on the requirements for our animal enrichment program, please contact us today at 7320.759.1270 and ask for our Volunteer Coordinator.
