We are currently looking for a Benefits Specialist in Owensboro, KY.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The individual in this position will have the responsibility for internal customer support through the Boardwalk Benefits Service Center. This person will be responsible for coordinating and providing internal customer support for employee benefit programs for active, retired, and disabled employees. Benefit programs include medical, dental, life, short and long term disability, cancer, vision, FSA, and COBRA. Internal customer support involves acting as a liaison between employees and benefit providers to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of the plans. Will also develop, implement, and follow administrative procedures to monitor and reduce costs, improve delivery of programs, and ensure compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Excellent computer skills, verbal communication skills, and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advance Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 3-5 years experience in employee benefit plans administration
  • Internal customer service experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Basic HRIS experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree
