Purpose
To be a partner with the industry by providing warehousing services that meet the customer's expectations of quality in service, productivity and cost. To work efficiently and safely following all company and departmental procedures while maintaining a Teamwork environment atmosphere.
Areas of Responsibility / Tasks
  1. General Policy
  1. Safely load and unload trucks in a timely manner.
  2. Pull and prepare shipments without damage.
  3. Pull samples of incoming raw materials for the lab to test.
  4. Stage raw material as required in the Warehouse areas.
  5. Transfer finished products from the Production area to the Warehouse.
  6. Assist production in locating raw materials.
  7. Complete all required Warehouse paperwork and movements within ERP system.
  8. Transfer all return to stock back into the Warehouse.
  9. Correctly label incoming raw materials.
  10. Complete all data entry requirements.
  11. Physical Inventory Counts - Finished or Raw.
  12. Keep all Warehouse areas clean and organized.
  13. Follow all Quality, Safety & Environmental Procedures.
  14. Uphold the Blue Polymers Code of Conduct standards.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager/Warehouse Lead.

Quality Management
  • Identify contaminations by visual inspections
  • Follow all ISO requirements; this includes but is not limited to being held responsible for completion of 'CAR' reports and submitting processing information when problem issues occur with damaged product, lost product, or other issues.

Safety & Health Compliance
  • Operate forklift safely and efficiently; conduct equipment inspections at the beginning of each shift.
  • Report damages and near-miss incidents.
  • Maintain a clean workspace.
  • Observe all OSHA and Company safety policies.

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications
  1. Education:
  1. Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
  1. Experience:
  1. Must have one year experience in a Warehouse environment.
  2. Forklift license required and must be able to operate a forklift safely.
  3. Ability to understand and follow instructions with respect to customer requirements.

To perform this role successfully, an individual must have experience achieving desired result(s) in their areas of responsibility. The requirements listed below are representative of observable behaviors and essential knowledge, skill, and abilities required of a successful incumbent within our culture.
  1. Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
  2. Must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.
  3. Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
  4. All injuries regardless of severity must be reported to your Supervisor/HR immediately.
