Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: In person

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour



Power Gen Components/ Vegas Fastener Mfg. seeking a diligent Janitorial worker. The janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment within the facility. This includes cleaning and maintaining the facility, emptying trash receptacles, cleaning floors, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the shop area. They will also be involved in stocking supplies, basic maintenance tasks, and inventory management of cleaning supplies. Operate cleaning equipment.


Job Duties:

• Collecting and emptying trash receptacles throughout the shop, ensuring proper waste disposal.

• Metal shavings/chip waste control and handling.

• Janitorial maintenance throughout facility. Ensure that areas such as, but not limited to, the bathrooms are stocked with necessary supplies.

• Operate floor scrubbing machine.

• Assist and perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

• Attention to detail - ensure thorough cleaning and identifying potential hazards.

• Ability to follow instructions - understand and follow safety procedures and cleaning protocols.

• Basic math skills - May be required for tasks like inventory management.

• Good communication skills - Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other employees.

• Safety awareness: Understanding of safety procedures and potential hazards in a machine shop environment

• Have an excellent work ethic and be a self starter.
