Job Description
Title: Equipment Technician II
Location: 5480 Great America Pkwy, Santa Clara, CA 95054
Duration: 6-8 Months Contract

Job Description:
Client is seeking an Equipment Technician II to support manufacturing and test equipment in a regulated medical device environment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and supporting production uptime while ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibrations, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment.
  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues.
  • Restore equipment to operational status while minimizing production downtime.
  • Assist with installation, qualification, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities using CMMS.
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
  • Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment availability.
  • Follow GMP, safety, and documentation requirements.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting capital equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and diagnostic tools.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems.
  • Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
