About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Systems Supervisor for the 1st shift at a food manufacturing facility in Opelika, AL. This senior role demands deep expertise in USDA/FSIS regulatory compliance, HACCP, pathogen control, and environmental monitoring — particularly in a ground beef or protein processing environment. The Supervisor will lead quality systems, manage floor teams, and ensure documentation, traceability, and crisis readiness meet the highest standards.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of HACCP & Food Safety Systems leadership experience
  • 2–4 years of Pathogen Control expertise — critical for ground beef operations (non-negotiable)
  • 2–4 years of USDA/FSIS regulatory mastery (non-negotiable)
  • 2–4 years of Environmental Monitoring & Sanitation Oversight
  • 2–4 years of manufacturing floor leadership in a blue-collar environment, covering documentation, traceability, and crisis readiness

Nice to Have

  • 2–4 years of enhanced microbiology knowledge
  • 2–4 years of advanced protein/beef processing experience
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar)
