Workers in these roles may operate CNC machines, program robotics, or use diagnostic software to maintain equipment. The goal is to improve efficiency, precision, and productivity through technology. This field is growing as traditional blue-collar jobs integrate more tech-driven solutions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the blue collar tech position, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Blue Collar Tech, you need a solid foundation in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, hands-on technical skills, and often a high school diploma or trade certification. Job description

Subject: DO NOT APPLY IF YOU WANT A DESK JOB.
The "Real Talk" Introduction Let's save us both some time. This is a Door-to-Door, W2 Commission-Only position. If you are looking for a base salary to hide behind, a clock-to-punch, or a quiet cubicle, stop reading now. This job is not for you.
However, if you are a grinder, a former athlete, a server tired of splitting tips, or a blue-collar worker tired of breaking your back for hourly wages-keep reading. This is your ticket to a $100k+ income and a legitimate career path.
Who We Are Cozy is not your average "old school" contractor. We are a young, energetic, and technology-forward Home Performance company. We specialize in Insulation, HVAC, Duct, and Window services. We improve home energy efficiency and air quality.
We are a tight-knit culture looking to scale nationwide. We don't do things "the way they've always been done." We innovate. We train. We grow.
The Opportunity vs. The "Solar/Roofing" Grind You aren't trying to close $50,000 deals on a doorstep. You aren't battling 50 other roofing canvassers.
  • The Pitch: You are offering a FREE Attic and Home Performance Inspection. That's it.
  • The Job: You knock the door, build value, and set the appointment. Our senior closers go in and finish the job.
  • The Path: You start on the doors. If you are good, you move to In-Home Sales (closing deals provided by marketing/canvassers) in 6-12 months.

The Logistics (The Deal Breakers)
  • Pay: W2 Commission Only.
  • Earnings: Average is $75k. Top performers earn $125k+.
  • Schedule: Mon-Thurs (1:00 PM - 8:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM). Fridays are off (or for the ambitious).
  • Location: You must have a reliable vehicle and a smartphone.
  • Physicality: You will be walking and standing for 5-6 hours a day. Rain or shine.

Who You Are
  • Resilient: You can handle hearing "No" and keep moving.
  • Competitive: You hate losing more than you like winning.
  • Teachable: We have a world-class training program. You need to be willing to learn our systems and scripts.
  • Reliable: You show up on time, every time. No excuses.

Why You Will Fail Here
  • You don't answer your phone or texts.
  • You are uncomfortable talking to strangers.
  • You lack the discipline to work without a boss breathing down your neck.

How To Apply We don't hire résumés; we hire work ethic. If you are ready to work hard and get paid what you are actually worth, apply now. IMPORTANT: To prove you read this entire post and have attention to detail, include the phrase "READY TO HUSTLE" in your application subject line or cover letter. Applications without this will be deleted.
