Bloomberg Intelligence (BI) delivers independent, data-driven research and interactive datasets integrated into the Bloomberg Terminal, helping investment professionals make decisions faster. With 500+ research professionals, BI provides company, credit, industry and strategy research across major global markets, covering 135+ industries and 2,000+ companies, including perspectives on company fundamentals as well as government policy, litigation and ESG. Our research and datasets are delivered through curated Terminal dashboards and interactive research decks, with underlying data typically one click away, drawing on proprietary Bloomberg sources and 600+ data contributors.
We analyze the unique attributes of emerging technologies, build models by extracting data from company filings and track how the business strategies and successes translate into financial results.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
BI is looking for a highly motivated research analyst focusing on the infrastructure sector coverage in the North America region. Our tech research part of the global tech team provides differentiated coverage of generative AI, cybersecurity, quantum computing, robotics, drones and autonomous driving. A good understanding of LLMs and datacenters would be a plus. You will be entrusted to deliver high quality and timely content while also growing our data offering.
WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:
- Leverage your knowledge of technology companies to actively create industry and company investment research on a regular basis.
- Build a bottom-up financial model leveraging Bloomberg data for company primer initiation.
- Monitor, interpret and react to major company developments, and identify macro themes and trends affecting investments in the region.
- Work closely with the global Tech coverage manager to coordinate and collaborate on analysis.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, industry and market professionals, investor relations personnel, and senior management at target companies.
- Participate and initiate marketing events like webinars, round-tables and conferences to commercialize research ideas.
- Work with Global Data teams to ensure data completeness and quality control for existing and new data sets of target companies.
YOU NEED TO HAVE:
- At least 3-4 years of experience with an advanced degree in a technology area.
- Experience interpreting financial statements and financial modelling.
- Knowledge of advanced concepts, practices, and procedures of finance and accounting.
- Exceptional primary research and writing skills.
- Self-starter, independent thinker and collaborative team player.
- Strong organization skills, and capable of handling multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English and other Asian languages for regional and China market coverage
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization

Salary Range = 215,000 - 285,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
