Job description

Our growing agency is hiring a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to serve more families across Kansas and Missouri. In this role you will actively engage with prospective clients, identify their insurance needs, offer a competitive quote, and close the deal. You will learn to write policies for homes, autos, motorcycles, boats, and more, along with life insurance through Farmers Insurance. We are looking for an individual with enthusiasm, coachability, and great communication skills.

What you will accomplish as a member of our team:

  • Meet or exceed personalized monthly sales goals
  • Complete daily outbound calls
  • Educate prospective customers on insurance options and develop tailored quotes aligned with their individual needs
  • Attend ongoing training and development

  • Experience in insurance, sales, customer service, or healthcare
  • Technology literacy, experience with Microsoft Suite, and a willingness to learn new programs

Responsibilities
  • Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
  • Process customer policy change requests.
  • Complete Evidence of Insurance requests.
  • Take premium payments from customers.
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
  • Answer incoming phone calls on the first ring.
  • Return all phone messages promptly.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through leads referral sources.
  • Generating insurance quotes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Property Casualty Insurance and Life Insurance Licenses for Missouri and Kansas. We will guide the right candidate through the licensing process and pay for training and every test you pass
  • Ability to identify and effectively communicate cross-selling opportunities with each lead
  • Receptiveness to feedback, with a demonstrated ability to apply coaching and training
  • Proven ability to confidently guide conversations toward closing the sale
  • Multilingual skills preferred, but not required
