Job description

The Client Account Manager will learn the details of the sales process as well as develop the skills necessary to execute client acquisition and retention. The Client Account Manager will eventually determine daily, weekly, and monthly work requirements to meet the sales department goals. The Client Account Manager, under the direction of the Director of Sales, will ensure tasks and assignments are executed and meet all company and safety requirements while ensuring client defined service levels are maintained and regularly exceeded.
The primary duties and responsibilities for the Client Account Manager are as follows:
  • Follow Managed Mobile's Sales Process
  • Sales lead generation from the field
  • Cold call leads to schedule sales meetings leading to new business.
  • Look to increase existing client revenue - inquiring about new opportunities at existing locations, new branch locations, new units in fleet, etc.
  • Process client info updates in ACT/TMW/FV/Sales Database/billing team. (New info is generated from client visits and from the Service Coordinators)
  • Dealing with Customer Service/billing issues/Client Complaints, etc.
  • Collections / PO Collection
  • Process new client set up - paperwork, ACT/TMW/FV data entry, fleet list, Fleet Service Plan, etc.
  • Marketing and Promotional - Website, Blog, social media, Swag, On Hold Script, Video Production, tradeshows, etc.
  • Regular site visits for all new clients focusing on client relationship building and retention.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Ability to consistently make multiple cold calls on the phone or in person daily.
  • Ability to articulate and manage multiple assignments.
  • Able to prioritize quickly changing requirements regularly.
  • Ability to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously to ensure all requirements are completed in a timely manner.
  • Ability to present to small or large groups in a confident manner.
  • Ability and willingness to closely follow Managed Mobile's sales process.

Requires the following skills:
  • Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email, and written means.
  • Experience and aptitude toward exceptional client service
  • Advanced skills with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Speak, listen, and write in a clear, thorough, and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
  • Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks.
  • High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
  • May be required to operate a company owned vehicle.
  • May be required to become a signatory on a company credit card account.
