Job description

Position Overview
As a Digital Marketing Manager at ODL, Inc., you will serve as the primary driver of our digital brand presence - creating compelling content, owning the organic social media strategy, and turning data into meaningful insight. You will lead the planning and execution of digital marketing programs across social media, web, and email channels, while managing agency and vendor partners with a high standard of excellence. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and analytics, and requires someone equally comfortable crafting an engaging post and building a performance dashboard.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to manage our website experience, develop SEO-driven content strategies, maintain our marketing technology stack, and leverage CRM platforms to support sales and marketing initiatives.
Location & Hybrid Work Requirement
This role is preferred to be based near Zeeland, MI to support a hybrid work schedule with regular onsite collaboration. Candidates located in Michigan are strongly preferred; however, we are also open to qualified candidates residing in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Essential Job Functions
Content Creation & Organic Social Media
  • Own the organic social media content calendar - planning, writing, designing, and publishing content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and others - in a voice that reflects ODL's premium brand.
  • Develop original content (copy, graphics, short-form video concepts) tailored to homeowner, builder, dealer, and architect audiences while staying ahead of platform trends and algorithm changes.
  • Lead creative collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop digital assets aligned to campaign and seasonal priorities.
  • Write and edit blog content, email campaigns, and other long-form digital copy in support of broader marketing initiatives.

Website Management & SEO
  • Manage ODL's corporate website(s), including content updates, site architecture, navigation, and user experience - ensuring a consistent brand voice and seamless buyer journey.
  • Lead keyword research and on-page SEO strategy to improve organic search visibility, drive qualified traffic, and build landing pages in support of campaign and product launch goals.
  • Monitor site performance metrics (traffic, engagement, conversion) and translate findings into actionable improvements.
  • Partner with web development resources and agency partners to implement technical SEO improvements and site enhancements.

Analytics & Data Storytelling
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on digital marketing performance across social, web, and email channels - translating data into clear narratives that inform strategy and demonstrate impact.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and custom reports that give team members real-time visibility into digital marketing effectiveness.
  • Use data proactively to identify trends, optimize strategy, and make the case for new investments or strategic adjustments.

CRM & Marketing Technology
  • Serve as a power user of HubSpot and Salesforce - building and maintaining automation workflows, segmentation, lead scoring, and email programs.
  • Ensure data integrity and hygiene across CRM platforms, partnering with sales and IT to keep contact and account records accurate and actionable.
  • Evaluate, onboard, and document new tools as the marketing tech stack evolves.

Agency & Vendor Management
  • Manage relationships with third-party agencies, freelancers, and platform vendors - setting clear expectations, reviewing deliverables, and holding partners accountable to quality and deadlines.
  • Brief external creative and content partners effectively, ensuring output aligns with ODL brand standards and campaign objectives.
  • Support the oversight of paid media agency execution (display, search, social, audio) in a collaborative review capacity.

Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing with demonstrated ownership of organic social media strategy and content creation.
  • Exceptional writing skills with ability to craft on-brand content tailored to audience and platform.
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce (required); experience with HubSpot a plus.
  • Proven analytical capability using Google Analytics, social media insights, and CRM reporting tools.
  • Hands-on experience managing major social platforms and working knowledge of SEO best practices - both on-page and technical.
  • Experience managing external agencies or vendors, with the ability to brief, review, and hold partners accountable.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, building products, home improvement, or channel-driven businesses is a plus.
