Job description

Compensation: $70,000โ€“$100,000
Location: Miami (Doral), FL (On-Site)
Reports To: CFO / Operations

The Role

East Harbor Financial is hiring a marketer who can own our brand presence end-to-end โ€” short-form content, long-form campaigns, video, social, email, and brand assets. We're a private credit firm, so the work lives at the intersection of creative storytelling and financial credibility. You'll drive strategy and execution, working with production contractors for heavy lifts while being hands-on enough to make edits, fix what's off, and ship polished output on deadline. This role is measured by what you produce and the results it drives โ€” portfolio and metrics matter more than titles.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns โ€” social media, email, blog, video, and brand collateral
  • Create and manage short-form and long-form content that makes complex lending and credit concepts accessible to borrowers, brokers, and investors
  • Own brand consistency across all channels โ€” voice, visual identity, messaging
  • Brief and manage production contractors (video editors, designers) and step in to make edits and fixes when deliverables need adjustments
  • Track and report on marketing performance โ€” engagement, reach, lead generation, conversion metrics
  • Develop data-driven storytelling around our deal activity, portfolio performance, and market position
  • Collaborate with origination and operations teams to align marketing output with business development goals

Required

  • 3+ years in content marketing, brand marketing, or digital marketing โ€” financial services or fintech experience is a strong plus but not a dealbreaker if the work speaks for itself
  • A strong portfolio โ€” show us campaigns you've built, content you've created, and metrics you've moved. This is the most important part of your application
  • We prioritize capability over tenure โ€” if you have fewer years but a portfolio that demonstrates sharp creative thinking and measurable impact, we want to hear from you
  • Comfortable editing video, graphics, and design assets โ€” you don't need to be a full-time editor, but you need to be able to open the file and fix it
  • Strong copywriting skills โ€” you can write a LinkedIn post and a one-pager with equal clarity
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and analytics (Google Analytics, social scheduling platforms, email marketing, CMS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field

Preferred

  • Experience marketing financial products, lending services, or B2B professional services
  • Familiarity with compliance-aware marketing in regulated industries
  • Ability to translate financial concepts into compelling brand narratives
  • Experience managing external creative contractors or agencies
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

About East Harbor Financial

We're a private credit firm in Doral, FL specializing in high-yield, short-duration secured loans across non-traditional collateral โ€” marine vessels, aircraft, real estate, and commercial vehicles. We operate with institutional standards but at startup speed. Our brand is how borrowers, brokers, and investors find us and decide to work with us. This role directly shapes that perception as we scale.

Apply: Send your resume and portfolio to operations@eastharborfinancial.com โ€” if you have campaign metrics or case studies, include them. We care more about what you've built than where you've worked.

East Harbor Financial is an equal opportunity employer.
