Warehouse Supervisor - 1270

Fetch

Springfield, VA

$22.50/hr

Full-time

Re-posted 24 days ago

Job description

Our Opportunity
Fetch is a venture-backed company redefining multifamily living through four core services: Package Delivery, Valet Trash, Fetch Market, and Fetch Storage. From secure, direct-to-door package delivery to community-wide valet trash pickup, grocery essentials through Fetch Market, and flexible storage solutions, Fetch streamlines operations for property teams while creating unmatched convenience for residents. Operating nationwide with rapid growth ahead, we combine logistics, technology, and hospitality to shape the future of multifamily living.

The Role

Fetch is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation at their site and serve as a frontline leader for our drivers, associates, and 1099 contractors. Our Warehouse Supervisors are hourly leaders who keep the floor moving — allocating labor, directing workflow, reinforcing standards, and ensuring every package reaches the right resident at the right time. This role is the operational pulse of the warehouse, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to execute the daily plan and hold the team accountable to the Fetch standard. We are looking for Warehouse Supervisors who lead by example, are willing to work alongside the team when the operation demands it, communicate with clarity, and are passionate about delivering an outstanding resident experience every single day.

Our Values

  • People Taking Care of People — We prioritize the safety of our team members while passionately developing our teams to reach their highest potential.

  • Enjoy the Journey — While embracing constant change and the hard work ahead, we maintain our identity by finding joy in the journey and pausing to celebrate how far we have climbed.

  • Deliver Value — By aligning our business model with profitability and growth, we remain focused on delivering consistent, high-quality results for our clients, team members, partners, and investors.

  • Growth Mindset — Driven by a mantra of continuous improvement, we embrace physical expansion, creative solutions, and the lessons learned from bold risks to remain innovative.

  • Cultivate Fans — We are dedicated to exceeding expectations through authentic and responsible service that earns the trust and advocacy of our customers and team members.

Schedule

This role operates on a fixed weekly full-time schedule on either the front half or the back half of the week. Schedules are subject to change based on operational needs.

What You'll Do:
  • Execute building open and close procedures including warehouse and inbound yard walks to verify physical security; oversee daily warehouse operations including package receiving, sorting, staging, and dispatch to ensure smooth and on-time execution

  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to verify equipment, supplies, and tools are properly stocked and accounted for; lead pre-shift and mid-shift team meetings covering stretching, SLA performance, delivery behavior review, and vehicle inspection accountability; communicate daily goals and assign job duties across drivers, associates, and contractors

  • Allocate labor across operational areas based on volume, staffing availability, and daily priorities

  • Independently assess associate and driver performance and production rates, providing timely direct feedback during shifts and escalating unresolved concerns to the Warehouse Manager; support ongoing associate development through coaching and skill-building conversations; assist the Warehouse Manager in conducting ride-along evaluations, documenting findings and contributing to structured feedback delivery

  • Train associates on Fetch standard operating procedures and verify ongoing SOP compliance across all areas of the operation

  • Coordinate operational relationships with independent contractors in partnership with the Warehouse Manager, including onboarding, dispatching, engagement tracking, and block schedule management

  • Use the Fetch WMS and operational reporting tools to monitor workflow, track inventory accuracy, action exception packages, report key performance metrics including OTR, UTR, and same-day SLA attainment, and complete required documentation including shift reports and incident records accurately and on time

  • Manage access control across assigned communities, maintaining proper key and fob chain of custody through sign-in/sign-out and reconciliation processes; promptly report any lost or missing access devices to the Warehouse Manager

  • Monitor and resolve open customer experience tickets daily, escalating unresolved issues to the Warehouse Manager or support teams as needed

  • Model and reinforce a culture of safety and wellbeing on the floor — going beyond compliance with Fetch policies, OSHA regulations, and security standards — by identifying and addressing hazards immediately, ensuring all workplace injuries are reported promptly, and coaching team members on safe work practices throughout every shift

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and properly equipped work environment throughout the shift, including any site-specific equipment or cold storage areas

  • Serve as an on-site point of contact for residents, vendors, and third-party agencies, utilizing company SOPs to de-escalate situations and resolve concerns appropriately

  • Identify and escalate major operational barriers; support continuous improvement initiatives, participate in cross-functional operational discussions, and provide coverage for the Warehouse Manager as needed

What You'll Need:
  • 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, delivery, or operations environment; prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred

  • Comfortable using technology platforms and mobile applications to manage workflow and track performance; ability to learn the Fetch WMS quickly required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to direct a team clearly and professionally

  • Ability to make sound operational decisions independently during a shift without direct manager oversight

  • Reliable, flexible when needed, and available to work a fixed schedule of front half or back half of the week, and  including holidays as required

  • Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and remain on your feet for the duration of a shift

  • Maintain a valid driver's license and successfully complete Fetch's required motor vehicle record screening and criminal background check necessary to operation a company vehicle

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in lieu of formal education may be considered

What We Offer

  • Competitive Compensation – Your expertise and impact are recognized and rewarded

  • Annual Compensation Reviews – Your growth and contributions are evaluated and rewarded on a consistent cadence

  • Comprehensive Benefits Package – Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage, including voluntary and ancillary plans,  for you and your family

  • Invest in Your Growth – Access to leadership development resources and a clear path forward as Fetch scales

  • Work That Makes an Impact – Help shape the future of our operations, teams, and growth
