Blender Developers are essential for extending Blender’s functionality and improving its performance for specific use cases.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Blender Developer position, and why are they important?

A Blender Developer excels with strong proficiency in 3D modeling and animation, advanced scripting (typically in Python), and a solid understanding of computer graphics concepts, often supported by a degree in computer science, animation, or related experience.
