Overview

This is a full-time, hybrid career opportunity on our Business Loan Center team. This role can sit within the Fulton Bank footprint as follows: PA, NJ, MD, DE, VA, DC.

The BLC Account Management Analyst is responsible for the activities involved in the ongoing monitoring and risk management of commercial clients within the BLC designated portfolio. This role will analyze and underwrite business and personal financial data collected for existing borrower relationships including assessing risks and mitigants and approving final risk rating utilizing delegated risk rating review authority. This role works closely with other areas of the bank including but not limited to Relationship Managers, Account Management Credit Specialists (AMCS), Loan Review and Special Assets.

Responsibilities
  • Support the BLC account management function carrying out all activities required including financial analysis, cash flow, sensitivity analysis, covenant testing, creation of credit packages and trigger monitoring in a consistent, accurate and timely manner.
  • Review loan documentation to assess covenant definitions and compliance with loan covenants and loan agreements.
  • Using delegated review approval authority, assign risk ratings accurately and timely and in accordance with the BLC risk rating process.
  • Utilize reports and tools to monitor borrower performance, industry conditions and economic factors impacting credit quality to accurately assess risk.
  • Monitor trigger based reporting to determine when triggers are met and review of lower-exposure relationships is needed, communicating with RMs and CSs to facilitate the initiation of the review process.
  • Administer process for risk rating assessments requiring further review ensuring compliance with process and within established timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and timely credit files, risk ratings and monitoring documentation. Contribute to portfolio reporting including risk indicators and trend analysis supporting management in assessing overall portfolio health and emerging risks.
  • Partner with AMCS role communicating effectively to ensure a cohesive process from submission to approval elevating issues and collaborating on process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policy and standards, credit procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in bank-sponsored activities, projects and training. Seek to learn more about Fulton Financial Corporation product offerings by obtaining partner certification. Maintain general competency on current market situation and economic risks that may impact or apply to credit. Attend continuing education seminars and events.
QualificationsEducation

Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or other applicable. (Required)

Experience

5 or more years experience in commercial credit analysis, credit risk management, or a related field. (Required)

2 or more years credit approval authority or recommendation experience. (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis and credit evaluation principles (Required)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities (Required)

Specific compensation offered will be determined based on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials. The salary range may vary based on geographic location.

The salary range for this position is $64,700.00 - $107,900.00 annually.

Additional Compensation Components

This job is eligible to participate in a short-term incentive compensation plan subject to individual and company performance.
