Inventory/Shipping & Receiving Associate
Allagash International Group, LLC and its product line Nor'East Controls is a leading valve and controls manufacturing company. Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc. is the leading manufacturers' representative of thermal energy solutions in the Northeast.
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our organization and support both Nor'East Controls and Blake Thermal in their combined space in Portland, Maine. In this role, you will work alongside a team of high-energy professionals dedicated to our Core Values: Customer Focused, Opportunity is Earned, Solution Provider, Trustworthy, Driven to Succeed and Confident but Humble.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Shipping and receiving of product, in a common warehouse, in support of both Nor'East Controls and Blake Thermal Sales & Service, Inc.
  • Packing and processing for outgoing raw materials and finished goods.
  • Receiving inbound product for manufacturing as well as processing returns.
  • Ensure all incoming product is placed and stored in the proper warehouse location.
  • Processing of all shipping and receiving paperwork, and notifying appropriate parties when job specific product arrives.
  • Organizing and maintaining a clean, well-organized warehouse.
  • Construction of pallets, as needed.

Additional Information:
  • All necessary tools and safety equipment will be provided.
  • Use of a fork lift will be required and training provided, if required.
  • Our goal is to repurpose shipping materials to minimize environmental impact. Foam packer and paper are the 2 main packaging methods.
  • Training to be provided, as needed.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with shipping and receiving, preferred.
  • Ability to accurately and effectively operate a computer.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain effective in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work well with a team towards a common goal.
  • VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED.
