Position: Weblogic/ BizTalk Server 2020 Administrator

Customer is requesting a BizTalk Server 2020 Administrator
Responsibilities
Platform Administration
  • Manage BizTalk Server environments (Development, QA, Production).

  • Maintain and configure BizTalk Groups, Hosts, and Host Instances.

  • Manage BizTalk Applications, Receive/Send Ports, and Orchestrations.

  • Administer Enterprise Single Sign-On (SSO) service and related credentials.

  • Integration Management

  • Ensure connectivity and message flow between integrated systems (e.g.,

  • Netsuite, Stonebranch, SQL, Azure Services).

  • Monitor adapters (MQSeries, WCF, FILE, FTP, SFTP, HTTP, SQL, etc.).

  • Manage and troubleshoot suspended messages and failed orchestrations.

  • Operational Monitoring

  • Use BizTalk360, SQL Agent Jobs, Windows Event Viewer, and PerfMon for

  • monitoring.

  • Maintain uptime, reliability, and data consistency across integrations.

  • Respond to alerts and incidents in accordance with SLAs.

  • Deployment & Configuration Management

  • Deploy MSI packages and binding files across environments.

  • Validate build and deployment scripts (PowerShell, BTDF, etc.).

  • Manage configuration changes (ports, pipelines, maps, schemas).

  • Database Administration (Basic Level)

  • Monitor SQL Server jobs, logs, and growth of BizTalk databases.

  • Purge/Archive tracking data to maintain performance.

  • Collaborate with SQL DBAs for backup and disaster recovery validation.

  • Security & Compliance

  • Manage service accounts, certificates, and access permissions.

  • Perform security audits, password rotation, and encryption key backup.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate and audit standards.

  • Performance Optimization

  • Tune throttling settings, host configurations, and message tracking.

  • Optimize MessageBox and DTA performance through regular maintenance.

  • Disaster Recovery & High Availability

  • Maintain backup and recovery procedures.

  • Test failover between BizTalk clusters and SQL Availability Groups.

  • Documentation & Knowledge Management

  • Maintain detailed runbooks, configuration documentation, and SOPs.

  • Record all changes and incidents with RCA (Root Cause Analysis).
