The Aircraft and Crew Manager (ACM) is responsible for the leadership, development, and maintenance of assigned aircraft and crew. In addition, they will perform duties as a Part 91/135 aircraft pilot in a safe and effective manner. This position will include operating the aircraft on behalf of Executive Jet Management (EJM) Part 135 Certificate while maintaining a positive and productive relationship with ACI Jet’s employees, vendors, and clients. This position is based at the San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP) and residing within a 2-hour drive-time of KSBP is required.

Requirements:


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Collaborate with ACI Jet Flight Operations Management and aircraft Owner to ensure complete operational success.
  • Responsible for the overall relationship with the aircraft owner, and the owner’s satisfaction with the aircraft operation.
  • Oversees the aircraft owner’s travel, even when not assigned to the trip.
  • Recruits, or assists in the recruitment, of crewmembers for the assigned account.
  • Assigns crew to all aircraft operations and ensures a fair workload among crewmembers.
  • Responsible for ensuring crewmembers are competent in the performance of their duties.
  • Ensures the aircraft is properly outfitted for the client, and operations.
  • Oversees the maintenance of the aircraft in coordination with the Director of Maintenance.
  • Ensures revenue and expenses match owner expectations.
  • Verifies accuracy of monthly accounting invoices and completes monthly owner reports.
  • Acts as a mentor to other pilots on the account helping them to develop professionally.
  • Fulfills duties and responsibilities as PIC/SIC when assigned.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on the assigned aircraft type (maintains a high-level of proficiency and technical knowledge that exceeds that of other pilots on the account).
  • Responds to operational questions from Dispatch / Maintenance / Pilots in a timely manner, and if necessary, researches the subject to provide informed and adequate responses.
  • Operate ACI Jet managed aircraft in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with all company procedures, manufacturers’ limitations and manuals, governmental rules and regulations, and any other requirements of agencies having jurisdiction over the flight.
  • Provide unparalleled courtesy, professionalism, and customer service to aircraft owners and EJM charter clients.
  • Remain knowledgeable relative to the applicable portions of the ACI Jet Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and EJM General Operations & Maintenance Manual (GOMM).
  • Ensure that a proper pre-flight inspection has been accomplished prior to takeoff including but not limited to the aircraft, its publications, documentation, equipment, passenger service items, fuel, weather conditions at destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points, customs, permits, and airport/runway suitability

HERE'S THE TYPE OF PERSON WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 3,500 hours total time
  • 2,000 hours PIC
  • 1,500 hours multi-engine
  • 300 hours instrument
  • CL-604 Type Rating highly desired
  • Pilot’s Certificate (ATP) with an English proficient endorsement
  • Meet the requirements of ICAO Annex I, Section 2.1.10
  • Meet all EJM Charter Pilot eligibility requirements
  • First Class Medical
  • Valid United States Passport
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3-5 years of professional aviation experience
  • Reside or relocate to within 2-hour drive of San Luis Obispo County Airport (KSBP)
  • Highly motivated and organized
