About the position

As SAP Project Manager, you will serve as the combined Business and IT Project Manager for an SAP Supply Chain and Manufacturing expansion and integration project within a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment. You will lead cross-functional teams including SAP IT, functional and technical consultants, validation and quality resources, business SMEs, and third-party vendors to deliver business process enhancements, SAP configuration changes, and MES integrations. This hybrid remote role is based on the US East Coast and reports to the Consultant Manager in Sweden. Travel up to 15% may be required.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Act as the combined Business and IT Project Manager for an SAP Supply Chain and Manufacturing expansion and integration project.
  • Manage project resources, deliverables, and timelines across SAP IT, support vendors, SAP functional and technical consultants, IT Validation, IT Quality, and business SMEs.
  • Drive project planning, execution, governance, budget management, status reporting, risk management, and steering committee meetings.
  • Lead business change control and IT validation activities in compliance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Facilitate business and scope decisions to ensure effective business processes, sound system design, and adherence to project schedules.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align business requirements with SAP capabilities and project objectives.
  • Maintain effective communication across business, IT, vendor, and leadership teams.


Technical Scope

  • Oversee integration between SAP and the Syncade MES application using standard SAP IDoc-based interfaces.
  • Lead design and implementation of processes and integrations supporting an additional Syncade MES system within an existing manufacturing plant.
  • Ensure consistency with existing Syncade integrations supporting Manufacturing Suites 1 and 2.
  • Oversee SAP functional configuration supporting additional manufacturing suites, buildings, and related business processes.
  • Coordinate functional, technical, testing, validation, and deployment activities to ensure successful delivery.


What We Expect from You

Your Work Experience, Education & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Minimum 7 years of ERP, SAP, or business transformation project management experience.
  • SAP Supply Chain/Manufacturing project management experience required (or equivalent ERP/application environment).
  • Experience with SAP-MES integration implementations strongly preferred.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech manufacturing processes and GxP/CSV projects strongly desired.
  • Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with the business and IT stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership.
  • Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, budgets, risks, and
