Senior Associate Project Manager
What you will do
Let's do this. Let's change the world! The Senior Associate Project Manager will be part of the Global Capital Project Management team and will be responsible for supporting and leading high priority projects in thousand Oaks relating to:
  • Implementation of projects within the Site Master Plan
  • Candidate must be comfortable assisting in the preparation and delivery of recommendations to senior management, as well as the development of other reports and documents.

Project management may include, but is not limited to, setting agendas, conducting project meetings, writing meeting minutes, creation and maintenance of project plans and timelines, identification and resolution of team-related cross-functional issues, and working with team members to identify and focus the team on critical path activities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Strong project leadership skills, including ability to manage diverse teams
  • Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both tactical and strategic planning issues
  • Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business), and problem-solving skills
  • Persistent, tactful, and persuasive team and project leadership including conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Tolerance for, and ability to manage, ambiguity
  • Interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and handle diverse assignments simultaneously
  • Word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet application skills
  • Understanding and outlining key priorities and inter-dependencies
  • Monitoring progress and adherence to timelines
  • Identifying project issues and facilitating resolution
  • Conducting risk management and scenario planning; drive development of contingency and/or risk mitigation plans
  • Identifying, escalating and facilitating resolution of budget/resource gaps
  • Drive implementation of team and management decisions
  • Facilitate resource planning, financial, and capacity assessments
  • Partner with finance to plan and manage team budget as appropriate
  • Escalate program issues, as appropriate
  • Manage initial & ongoing communication of plans
  • Working Knowledge of Project Management principles and practices

Basic Qualifications:
  • Master's degree OR
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of project management experience OR
  • Associate's degree and 6 years of project management experience OR
  • High school diploma / GED and 8 years of project management experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
