Registered Nurse - Case Manager
Location: Apple Valley, CA
Onsite Flexibility: Onsite
Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Contract Duration: 1 month
  • Pay Rate: $75.00 / Hour (USD)
  • Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours), 8:00-16:30
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary
This is a Registered Nurse / Case Manager travel contract role at an Acute Care Facility. The position focuses on Acute Care Case Management and Discharge Planning and requires seasoned travelers with prior hospital experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Acute Care Case Management and Discharge Planning
  • Meet department needs including working every other weekend
  • Float within the department as required (no facility-wide floating expectation)
Required Skills
  • Must be a seasoned traveler - first-time travelers are not accepted (hard stop)
  • Hospital-based acute care experience required; behavioral health experience does not apply toward this requirement
  • Patient ratio management: Days 1:25, Weekends 1:45
Education Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License - California state license required
  • Pending CA license accepted; however, must be fully licensed by start date
  • Minimum 2 years of Acute Care Case Management / Discharge Planning experience required
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Acute Care Case Management / Discharge Planning experience (hospital-based; behavioral health experience does not count)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
  • Facility Type: Acute Care Facility
  • Scrub Color: Business Attire or Scrubs
  • Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, to meet department needs
  • Floating Expectation: None
Important Notes
  • First-time travelers will not be considered - seasoned travelers only (hard stop)
  • RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
  • CA state license required; pending license accepted but must be active upon start date
