Registered Nurse/Case Manager

Location: Apple Valley, CA

Onsite Flexibility: Onsite

Contract Details
  • Position Type: Contract (Travel/Contract)
  • Contract Duration: 3 months
  • Shift / Schedule: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 16:30
  • Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Job Summary

This is a travel nursing position in the Case Management department at an Acute Care Facility located in Apple Valley, CA. The role requires a seasoned traveler with demonstrated hospital-based acute care experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide acute care case management and discharge planning services
  • Manage patient caseloads at a ratio of 1:25 on weekdays and 1:45 on weekends
  • Meet department needs including every other weekend coverage
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Acute Care Case Management/Discharge Planning experience required
  • Must have hospital experience; behavioral health experience does not apply toward this requirement
  • Must be a seasoned traveler first-time travelers are not accepted (hard stop)
Required Skills
  • Acute care case management and discharge planning skills
  • Ability to manage high patient caseloads and meet department scheduling needs
Education Requirements
  • CA State RN License required (pending license accepted, but must be fully licensed by start date)
Work Environment / Physical Requirements

  • Dress Code: Business Attire or Scrubs
  • Weekend requirement: every other weekend to meet department needs
  • Floating Expectation: None
  • RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
