What is a retail communications manager?

A Retail Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing communication strategies within retail organizations to ensure clear and effective messaging between corporate offices, store employees, and sometimes customers. They create internal communications, such as newsletters, training materials, and announcements, and often coordinate with marketing and HR teams. Their goal is to keep staff informed, engaged, and aligned with company objectives, as well as to support brand consistency across all retail locations.
