Cummings Printing is looking for dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our bindery team on 1st shift. Whether you’re an experienced bindery helper or someone eager to learn the trade, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist bindery operators with:
    • Saddle stitching, perfect binding, trimming, folding, collating, and packing
  • Load, unload, and stage printed materials and signatures
  • Feed materials into bindery equipment under operator supervision
  • Stack, bundle, strap, and palletize finished products accurately
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure:
    • Correct page order
    • Proper trimming and alignment
    • Clean, secure binding
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
  • Assist with job changeovers and cleanup between runs
  • Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
  • Communicate issues or defects immediately to the Lead Operator or Manager
  • Support on-time job completion by maintaining an efficient workflow

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday
