Job description

The Reproductive Specialty Center (RSC) is an advanced gynecology and infertility practice located on the eastside of Milwaukee. RSC is looking for a bright, capable, personable Medical Billing Specialist with understanding of the entire billing cycle and enjoys working with patients. Responsible for the entirety of the billing function, including coding medical procedures, inputting daily charges, collecting, submitting claims, follow up and appeals with insurance companies, and posting of payments (cash, checks, credit charges). The position includes financial counselling with patients as many fertility services are not covered benefits. There is some flexibility in hours and number of days/week. 20 hours/ week

Successful candidate requirements include:

  • Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional education preferred
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel and medical software i.e. Advanced MD
  • Reliable, self-motivated individual with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
