Overview

Cordoba is a leading engineering and program management firm based in California. We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. The responsibilities include coordinating with other departments to ensure all labor and expenses are accurately billed for, setting clients up for billing, issuing invoices, ensuring invoices correspond with financial reports and support our Deltek related requests. The qualified candidate should be able to work independently and efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices.
  • Reviewing invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
  • Reconciling invoices with AR reports and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicating with internal team and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
  • Ensuring internal billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
  • Responsibilities related to sector needs include billing, financial reporting and creating dashboards.
  • Generating analytical, forecasting, trends, reporting, to prepare for monthly/quarterly/annual financial meetings with Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with Sector leads, project managers, accounting group in financial meetings and/or provide financial updates as needed.
  • Provide Deltek maintenance support, overseeing project requests, labor transfers and other Deltek related support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • 1-3 years of work experience as Billing Analyst or related role
  • Advanced proficiency using Excel (Pivot Tables, Charts/Graphs), PowerPoint Presentations, Financial Modeling and Dashboarding
  • Experience using the Deltek platform preferred
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
  • Proactive self-starter with results-oriented focus, and the capability to assume additional responsibilities
  • Effective oral and written communication skills

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid 3 days per week in the Ontario, CA office

Other Requirements: Ability to pass a pre-authorized background check
