Job description

Lucas Ford, located @ 3245 Hortons Lane, Southold, is seeking to hire an Auto Biller / Assistant Bookkeeper. You will also be required to fill in to assist in Bookkeeping on an as-needed basis.

Experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate. CDK experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge of the DMV / Verify System is mandatory
  • Processing all NYS and DMV transactions, including In-Transit Plates
  • Processing of all Out-of-State DMV work
  • Wholesales, including auction transactions
  • Resolve all DMV problems, including Lien, title, and lease buyouts
  • Data entry
  • Stocking in new/used cars in inventory
  • Billing, retail, wholesale, and dealer trade deals & swaps

Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate the ability to work well with the office staff
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be attentive to detail
