The Appointment Setter is responsible for engaging firm-provided warm leads, qualifying prospective clients, and scheduling appointments for our financial advisors. This role is centered around high-volume outbound calling, relationship building, objection handling, and appointment conversion -
no cold prospecting.
You'll serve as the first point of contact for many prospective clients, creating a positive first impression while helping families take the first step toward financial confidence.
This position is ideal for professionals with 1-3 years of phone sales or appointment setting experience who are driven by performance, enjoy working toward measurable goals, and want to build a long-term career within the financial services industry.Responsibilities
  • Make 90-100 outbound calls daily to warm leads and previous prospects
  • Qualify prospective clients and schedule appointments for financial advisors
  • Build rapport and confidently communicate the value of meeting with an advisor
  • Handle objections using proven sales techniques and call frameworks
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to maximize appointment conversions
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date
  • Confirm appointments to improve attendance and advisor productivity
  • Collaborate with advisors and administrative teams to support scheduling priorities
  • Support seminar, workshop, and marketing campaign outreach
  • Assist with team projects and light administrative responsibilities
  • Continue developing financial knowledge and sales skills through ongoing training
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in phone sales, appointment setting, inside sales, or business development
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required (verbal and written).
  • Financial industry experience is a plus, not required.
  • Relevant certifications/licenses (SIE, 2-15, 2-14) are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to grow professionally.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Team-player mindset with a professional, service-focused attitude.

Compensation
$65,000-$80,000 Annually all-in (Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Performance Bonuses)
