Job description

Our games library includes more than 400 game types: numerical lotteries, TV lottery games, sports lotteries, fixed odds betting, instant lotteries, pari-mutuel, video lottery, and monitor games.

Position Overview:

As a Bidding & Proposals Manager your role will be to lead in the preparation of high quality and compliant bid responses to various State/ Government agencies that clearly articulates our Company’s value proposition. Reporting to the VP, Business Development, you will be responsible for developing and updating technical proposal content that bring technical concepts to life in compelling, compliant, and easy-to-understand ways. all while adhering to industry and company proposal-writing standards.

You will interact with and learn about all areas of the business, from Sales, Legal, and Finance to Marketing, Operations, and Technology & Innovation

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 3-5 years of relevant experience in technical proposal writing.
  • Experience content planning, writing, and leading sections/volumes (e.g., technical approach, management, corporate experience) in response to multi-phase and government solicitations.
  • Excellent technical and persuasive writing, with a proven ability to interview subject matter experts and synthesize technical information with the company’s value proposition to develop a compelling and compliant proposal.
  • Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written English grammar, spelling & vocabulary
  • Attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and the win-theme is shown throughout the documentation.
  • Tech-savvy: experience communicating, writing, and presenting technical information to all levels and types of stakeholders (both technical and non-technical).
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to visualize information, and communication with multiple audiences.
  • Self-starter; works effectively and productively with limited supervision.
  • Maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate on a team is required.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Ability to work with large groups of stakeholders across various domains of expertise
  • Solid ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet all deadlines.
  • You have acquired 1-3 years’ professional experience as a Business Development Specialist or a Systems Technical Writer.

Additional Preferred Experience & Skills

  • Bid management principles, government procurement, public tendering procedures familiarity along with professional experience in the Gaming Industry/ B2B/ B2G
  • Experience with proposal management software

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under the direct supervision of the VP Development, performs the following duties and responsibilities. Other miscellaneous duties may be assigned.

  • You will be involved in the Bid Management process for potential new business opportunities; from bid qualification all the way to bid submission/presentations.
  • You will assist in the development of our solutions and strategies while ensuring compliance with customer requirements and highlighting company value proposition with the goal of securing winning bids.
  • Coordinate with virtual bid teams and inputs from a variety of company stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, marketing, product teams, finance, commercial, legal and delivery.
