A Snapshot of Your Day
You lead the Site Operations scope of complex grid and energy infrastructure bids - primarily HVDC and FACTS - across North America. You shape execution concepts, develop competitive costings and schedules, and coordinate cross-functional bid teams. The SE GT SO Team delivers complex transmission and grid stabilization projects across Siemens Energy with a focus on excellence, digitalization, and lessons learned.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead the full EC/Site scope within complex tenders, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with overall bid strategy.
  • Develop competitive and data-driven cost models that strengthen bid positioning and profitability.
  • Build preliminary and level-3 schedules that shape execution planning and drive realistic delivery timelines.
  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities, influencing bid decisions and shaping winning strategies.
  • Define and steer subcontracting approaches that optimize cost, quality, and partner performance.
  • Represent the erection and installation scope in key Quality Gates/LoA reviews while continuously improving tools, templates, and mentoring the growth of junior team members.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a strong equivalent technical background. 10+ years of site and commissioning experience, with a deep understanding of field execution realities and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated bid leadership, driving clarity, alignment, and high-quality deliverables across complex tender processes.
  • Advanced planning skills using MS Project and Primavera, with the ability to translate project scope into actionable, credible schedules.
  • Solid commercial and contractual acumen, enabling informed decision-making and risk-aware bid development.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, ensuring alignment across engineering, commercial, and execution teams.
  • All candidates must be authorized or able to obtain authorization to work in the United States.
